| Summary The Regional Sales Manager role, based in Egypt, will report to MEA Commercial Director and will be responsible for driving sales of HID Access control products in Egypt and North Africa. This position proactively initiates solutions to customer’s immediate and emerging needs thereby sustaining profitable growth and accelerating market share. Through tenacity, resourcefulness and creativity the Regional Sales Manager sets the industry standard for customer delight. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. High level of sales and technical proficiency with access control solutions Target and convert new customer opportunities using HID products Maintain and grow existing customer base across market segments and strategic verticals Grow the enterprise business as well as the upper mid-market for both physical products as well as mobile access Interface and collaborate with HID partners to train internal sales and new/existing HID customers Perform and submit weekly, monthly and quarterly sales forecasting reports Regional Strategic planning and scheduling within territory Perform high-end solution presentations regionally to end users, consultant and SIs Proven track record of exceeding customer expectations and sales objectives Excellent communication skills including, written, verbal and an emphasis on technical presentation skills Strong organization, planning, follow-up and general time management skills with experience managing a sales region, prioritizing opportunities Endless stamina and resilience to successfully transform prospects into customers Ability to excel in a team environment. Ability to Achieve assigned objectives & targets on a quarterly basis. Manage time-coordinate hectic schedules of an international team making best use of corporate people and learning resources Ability to travel outside of Egypt up to 20% or the time or as required Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience Minimum is Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Marketing 7+ years of sales experience with Security and/or Access control products in Egypt, ideally within a multinational. Language Skills English and Arabic language fluency is essential Ability to effectively communicate in Arabic and English verbally and in writing. French is a plus. Ability to write and give presentations that conform to the prescribed business style and format Other Skills and Abilities Excellent communication and negotiation skills Excellent knowledge of the Egyptian physical security and access control market Experience with end user business as well as channel sales management Ability to work as a self-starter, but also a work effectively as part of a team Hands on attitude with the ability to manage multiple projects with successful prioritization Read and anticipate important market trends and drivers from Journals, tradeshows, business publications etc. Good business sense with the ability to become a ‘trusted advisor’ Excellent planning, prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to adhere to deadlines Show good initiative and enthusiasm to colleagues Able to work calmly under pressure Good IT, budget report writing skills Ability to work in a multicultural working environment Computer Skills Working knowledge of office software applications and sales automation tools (Word, Excel and Power Point, Salesforce.com) is a must Work Environment: This role can be office based or home based Work Requirements: Home office based Must be eligible to work in Egypt International travel will be required; therefore, employee must possess or can acquire a valid passport Must possess a valid driver’s license We make it easier for people to get where they want to go!
