Job Purpose Support the department in developing and implementing innovative products, which generate demand and high levels of conversion. Provide actionable research findings to meet the needs of the line of businesses and changing marketplace. Job Outline: Assist product manager in the planning, development, implementation, and execution of product initiatives in line with the key goals and objectives of the business. Liaises with Corporate Communication to ensure that all above and below the line promotional activities comply with Company standards and procedures and are completed on schedule. Participates in preparing revenue budgets to meet planned growth requirements. Monitors costs and revenues to ensure that these are in accordance with budgets Create internal sales briefs for campaigns and new product initiatives in conjunction with product manager. Support the production of content and all promotional material i.e. websites, brochures, flyers, tactical (digital or print) to meet market specific timelines and requirements. Effectively and efficiently manage the product administration and support requirements of the business. Provide helpdesk/product support by identifying handling issues, incidents and requests, diagnosis, and resolution where possible. Communicate appropriately and in an effective and timely manner to requests to ensure business impact is minimized. Assist product manager in regular market research and analysis by monitoring trends and presenting key findings to support dnata products. Actively seek feedback throughout the campaign/selling period from source markets/distribution channels to identify issues and opportunities associated with optimizing sales and conversion associated with product offering. Produce ROI reports, post campaign analysis and extract key learnings to aid future campaigns. Provide support with destination training material and fam trip organisation to ensure employees have the required material and knowledge to become product experts and optimize sales. Participate in regular meetings in partnership with the brands to obtain feedback and support with respect to the promotion of products in the market. Develop and maintain strong mutually beneficial, working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Actively support and attend internal and external events and training opportunities. Qualifications & Experience Commercial/Sales. Other : 5+ Years Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) : Degree in Management, Marketing, Tourism, or Hospitality or a related discipline -Worked within the travel, tourism, leisure industry or in Commercial & Sales Strong knowledge of the global travel industry, including competitor activity Knowledge of the functioning of all units within hospitality, B2C retail, travel and tourism Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills Strong negotiation skills Good creative and lateral thinking skills Strong knowledge of business improvement processes |
