| The Investment and Asset Management department was formed to review and formulate strategies to enhance our hotels’ performance and to also help identify new business opportunities. Its main scope revolves around Investment Management, Asset Enhancement, Business Development and group wide Strategic Initiatives in hotels, commercial and retail components. This team covers feasibility studies, strategic development, asset plan development, data analytics, financial modelling, project and analytical management skills, multi projects exposure in real estate, hospitality, retail and food & beverage Purpose of the role: We are currently looking for a Analyst – Investment and Asset Management to be based in our Regional Office in Dubai. You will provide assistance in operations analysis, new project feasibility analysis, project development and relevant matters for the Vice President IAM at Middle East, India, Indian Ocean Region. Key areas of Responsibility: Conduct research, financial analysis, financial modelling on various HMA & investment strategies Prepare various cash flow, valuation projections, reports and dashboards Assist in the execution of HMA and investment/divestment transactions Conduct in-depth analysis of targeted HMA and investment performance Analyze current asset performance and identify areas for enhancement Assist to roll out investment strategies and initiatives with the hotels Conduct market research on land and property prices and indicators Requirements: Equipped with business and financial knowledge plus able to work on various financial models Ideally 1-2 years of relevant experience Experience with hospitality industry preferred (working directly or in a consultancy role) Focus and organized with the ability to optimized business initiatives Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Surveying or relevant discipline Proficient in Microsoft Office and other analytic software Good spoken and written English Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Investment or hospitality degree linked with these disciplines |
