| What you will do: • Prudent decision-making on retention & renewal of existing business based on profitability history. • Achieve consistent and profitable business growth for the branch. • Promote a culture of Customer Service Excellence within the branch. • Plan, analyse and develop strategies and actions to secure new/renewal of direct business and business through branch sales staff. • Maintain regular personal contact with major prospective clients. • Strike long-term business partnerships with intermediaries and affinity channels • Manage the customer complaints at Macro & Micro level • Ensure that back-end related works (compliance, policy issuance & endorsements) are effectively managed by team members. • Ensure that premium collections are duly reviewed and monitored. Required skills to be successful: Strong analytical skills. Desire to build relationship with existing & potential clients & agents. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. A driven sales approach that ensures targets are met Excellent interpersonal skills to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Problem solving abilities. What equips you for the role: Over 12 years of experience in Insurance Industry (Including 5+ years in a leadership role) General Insurance with particular emphasis on Marine, Hull & Cargo, Non Marine, Motor, Life & Medical. Agent / Broker Relationship Management. Knowledge of the Insurance industry and experience in UAE market. Commercial acumen and strong understanding of business requirements Interpersonal and negotiations skills. Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree (Commerce/Science / Arts / Business Administration) Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute, London or equivalent |
