Job Description:
Job Purpose
Provide support to Treasury operations functions and managing the operational aspects of financing, investments, risk management and system management. This includes research, analytical reviews and recommendations, system updates, regular management reporting, MIS automation, accounting and compliance support, IT support and coordination of Treasury’s back-office activities.

Job Accountabilities
Generic Accountabilities
Support respective section heads in day-to-day functions of Treasury operations.
Support the system build stage under the LIBOR module implementation in the TMS.
To support and carry out UAT under the migration phase and IBOR module implementation phase.
To support in the migration activity of all aircraft related transactions to the new system.
Ensure that the Treasury Management System is utilised efficiently by all the users.
Proactively train users for operating treasury systems.
Recommend improvement in Treasury processes, systems and MIS related to financing, risk,
investments, derivatives & commodities.
Ensure section KPIs and other performance and risk measures are achieved and maintained.
Treasury Operations (Risk)
Provide back office support in terms of maintaining reliable records of open and closed positions under FX, FX forwards, IRS & Commodities. To manage the settlements and rate fixings under NDF’s, derivatives and commodities.
Provide accounting and Treasury Systems support updating TMS with rates, FX and volatility, test hedge effectiveness every quarter, run general ledger (GL) interfaces, deal with GL reporting requirements and assist in year-end audit disclosures.
Treasury Operations (Financing)
Provide back office support in terms of maintaining reliable records, managing contractual payments, keeping track of key contractual milestones, ensure internal treasury systems are up-to-date, coordination with GL for accounting financing transactions and liaising with the external to resolve any queries they may have.
Monitor on-going debt service requirements under various financing facilities and ensure that payment instructions are issued on time (many of which once contractually committed are not subsequently triggered by routine invoices). Also, all credits to be tracked and ensured received on timely basis as contracted.
Provide ongoing ‘after care and maintenance’ in respect to aircraft purchase agreements including
management of pre-delivery payments, mile-stones and manufacturer credits. Key requirement is to be familiar with the financing outline of each aircraft in our portfolio and critical dates during the term of the facility. This would include ensuring that aircraft financing structures/contracts are interpreted and debt obligations captured in the TMS using available financial instruments in accordance to IFRS standards.
Provide support on the LIBOR replacement Project and assist in achieving project milestones which are not limited to the workflow management, Report checking, Cash flow reports management, calculations of compounded rates under SOFR rate in arrears with lag, Testing of reports and report fixing , Work Flow setup , functional testing, deal bookings in all methods , report configuration, manage UAT Cycles , issue fixing, new instrument setup, accruals setup and pre and post Go Live support.
Project Management
To lead the implementation of Treasury Management system from business prospective and lead other initiatives around the TMS (Risk, Financing, Liquidity, Investments, Reporting) Trading Platforms Interfaces to and from external systems.

Qualifications
Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)

Knowledge/Skills
University degree with a major in Finance. Experience of professional experience in Finance within a large corporation or financial institution, preferably within a commercial Treasury department.
Knowledge of various structures under aircraft finance contracts and understanding of capturing debt obligations.
Knowledge of financial markets and technical analysis.
Understanding on the calculations of compounded SOFR in arrears rate under cessation of LIBOR and replacements with RFR rates.
Strong analytical background. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Expert knowledge of Excel and other office automation software.
