You will be responsible for the sales or marketing of cutting-edge Hitachi Energy products or systems, or solutions associated with our transformers service portfolio in UAE. Reporting to the service manager, you will use your passion and experience to drive strategic engagements with our customer base in UAE, Oman and also assigned markets, identifying and presenting effective solutions aligned to our customer needs.

Your responsibilities
Driving growth through new strategic initiatives and partnerships. Taking responsible to grow the opportunity pipeline and maintaining a target level of forecast accuracy (Using Salesforce).
Stimulating sales growth across multiple business units and several competency verticals of Hitachi Energy transformer service portfolio.
Monitoring customer and market trends to develop an effective sales & marketing approach in collaboration with key business stakeholders.
Gathering and maintaining market analysis on Hitachi Energy & competitor position in the local or regional or national markets; leveraging this information to help support business decisions.
Contributing to the identification and development of regional market opportunities in collaboration with market managers.
Preparing market or region business development plans with the support of key business stakeholder and regional sales.
Managing, penetrating, and expanding service within the utility sector and other select key accounts in the Countries.
Aligning the service portfolio to support our customers short- and long-term goals.
Identifying market or regional needs along with regional sales team and suggest appropriate products or services.
Reviewing the Hitachi Energy installed base, analyzing and developing sales campaigns to capitalize on asset intelligence.

Your background
A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or technologist diploma.
Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales or service sales. Understanding of electrical substation, transmission, distribution, generation and the local market will be an asset.
Ability to influence and challenge business stakeholders to drive business growth. Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
Ability to present and sell new technology solutions as a means of differentiating value. Bringing digital information solutions to the electrical market.
Knowledge of transformers, breaker, protection and control and substation equipment will be an asset.
Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships. A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
Ability to travel.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
