| Arcadia School would like to appoint a committed, self-driven and experienced swimming coach, with the ability to assist in the development and growth of a swimming programme. Arcadia is fortunate to have two swimming pools across both our sites, one being a state of the art 25m pool. An ability and history of driving performance and pushing the development of school squads is essential. Responsibilities: Willingness and ability to attend and run extra-curricular activities, squad training and competitions. Assist in the delivery of outstanding swim sessions for students in Foundation Stage 2 – Year 9. Uphold responsibility for the monitoring and assessment of students attainment and progress. Develop excellence amongst students by identifying exceptional learners and subsequently providing performance pathways. Contribute to curriculum development and adaptation with particular attention to the swimming curriculum. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school environment Minimum qualification of Swim England (ASA) Level 2 or equivalent Coaching Certification – Proven results with swim squads Excellent communication skills with colleagues, swimmers of all ages and parents Lifeguard certification needed Successful applicant will need to provide a negative PCR test reult valid for 48 before joining school. |
