| The British International School Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint a Support Assistant to join a well-established, supportive team in a highly successful school. About the Role Working as part of a well-established team, the role of Support Assistant is key in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of students using the school bus service. Support Assistants accompany students travelling by school bus, ensuring that safety and behaviour rules are adhered to at all times. You will be an effective communicator, being the main point of contact for parents and caregivers during pick up and drop off times. This position will also involve providing additional administrative support in classrooms, library, reprographics, school clinic and office areas when not engaged in bus supervision duties. About You You will be friendly and polite, of smart appearance, able to calmly and confidently deal with both parents and children. It is essential that you possess high levels of personal integrity, and are conscientious. In addition, you will be flexible and have a positive approach to work as well as the ability to adhere to strict policy and procedure. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience; High levels of personal integrity Excellent organizational and time management skills Adaptable and able to take on a variety of tasks Ability to work under pressure and remain calm Self-motivated and enthusiastic Fluency in written and spoken English Candidates should already be living in the UAE.
