Position Statement: The Accounts Payable Supervisor will lead the Accounts Payable function for the hotels across the GCC that are supported by the UAE Finance Shared Service Centre (SSC). The role reports to the SSC Finance Manager. Position Summary: • Line manage team of SSC Accounts Payable Accountant • Supporting hotels joining the SSC with the transfer of their Accounts Payable and Payroll process • Controlling quality of work of the SSC Accounts Payable Accountants • SSC Accounts Payable and Payroll process improvement • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations for Accounts Payable and Payroll related balance sheet accounts • Help coach the team in effective payment process and managing supplier vendor accounts • Ensures payment processing is compliant as per policy and has all necessary documentation for review before approving the same • Guide the team on month end process for accounts payable and payroll process • Reviews month end vendor ageing reports and ensure all reports reconcile and balance against the general ledger • Ensure SOX compliance for Accounts Payable and payroll function and continuous training for team members • Ensure supplier reconciliations are performed for all SSC hotels • Focus on effective communication between hotels and Accounts Payable team • Perform any additional tasks as assigned to ensure effective operations of the SSC Qualifications What are we looking for?
