| About the Role We are recruiting a Secondary Vice Principal to join our team from September 2022. The successful candidate will play a key role in our Secondary Leadership Team and will support in achieving the key strategic objectives for the Academy through formulating and leading on specific aspects of the school improvement plan. We are looking for someone who: *Is a dynamic, passionate, resilient and inspirational leader; *Has excellent working knowledge of Key Stages 3 to 5 of the National Curriculum for England (NCfE) and particularly GCSEs, A-Levels and BTEC qualifications; *Creates an effective, productive, and caring atmosphere where all students and staff have the opportunity to learn and grow; *Develops and supports a learning focused culture for students, staff and the community; *Is experienced in and will take responsibility for managing assessment and data for KS3, 4 and 5 *Fosters an environment where students and staff take ownership of their own learning; *Leads the continual development of the Secondary curriculum to ensure all learners have the right levels of challenge and support; *Fosters a collaborative environment that supports contributive leadership from all stakeholders; *Is a highly effective communicator with students, parents, colleagues and the wider community. To be considered for this appointment, you will require: *A full teaching qualification (a school leadership qualification would also be desirable); *A track record and experience of continued professional development and involvement in the recruitment of staff; *Relevant senior leadership experience across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 of the National Curriculum for England; *Exceptional communication skills.
