| QCI shall be responsible for the inspection of incoming goods as per the plan, do the transactions in the manufacturing system and support the QA/QC Engineer in his activities. Responsibilities Quality Assurance Review and approval of material and test certificates from internal and external sources including NDE and special process documentation Ensure the QC documentation, assist in preparation & maintenance of procedures, work instructions and product documents and customer order requirements & procedures. Management of non-conformance, corrective action & preventive action processes and compile & analyze quality measurement data. Maintain the calibration of tools & equipment’s as defined. Complete and/or facilitate supplier evaluations and audits as required. Interface with suppliers & QA/QC Engineer to resolve quality issues and field any questions that arise. Actively participate in the site ES&H requirements and ESH audit Inspection of incoming goods as per sampling plan and be responsible for Inspection & Test Plan for the incoming inspection. Additional Information This position has overall responsibility for the inspection of incoming goods as per the test plan and approved spec and standards. Primary Location shall be UAE, but with 25% travel requirements if required to fulfill the assignments Requirements Basic Qualifications Essential Engineering degree / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing / Instrumentation) 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC activities or Inspection activities Level II in NDT Conversant in Control Valve components Knowledge of Material Specs & international codes and Standards (ASME, ASTM etc) Desirable Internal Auditor Qualification & Experience. Knowledge of Foundries, Machining, Welding, ASME pressure vessel and related codes Preferred Qualifications Sound knowledge in all QA& QC Functionals, ASME, ASTM and other Valve manufacturing related Standards, All types of materials, Problem solving Skills.
