| Job Description: |
| • This position is based in the UAE, and will be responsible to monitor and execute purchasing for the company’s Iraq operations, so that required products are supplied within desired specifications, cost and time. • Initiate purchase enquires and LPOs via the company’s E-procurement platform. • Obtain the most cost-effective products and services for the business, while maintaining the quality standards, and in compliance with the requested specifications. Desired Candidate Profile Work Experience Desired: • Min. 3 years of hands-on experience in purchasing processes, preferably within the Ports and/or Logistics industry, in Iraq • Familiar with Iraq based suppliers and vendors, specific to ports/logistics industry • Past work experience should include negotiation, quote analysis and multiple vendor management. Educational Requirements: Graduate in Engineering, or related subjects. Professional Competences Desired: • High proficiency in data analysis and management • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and SAP or similar ERP • Ability to work well as a team-player, and effectively manage various stakeholders especially during tight timelines. |
