| The mission: Embodying Christian Dior’s values and standards is imperative for this role. Product Merchandiser will support the Head of Merchandising in building the success of the ME results with her/his product category. This role requires a mature individual able to build a strong business strategy. They will work closely on the analytical & financial aspect of the business and will always have to ensure a healthy business through the control of her/his category. The role is the link between Retail and Headquarters to ensure a productive seasonal buy and sell-through in line with the knowledge of the competition trends & client requirement. The objective of the role is to be the driver of facilitating sales and implementing business initiatives. The position reports directly to the Head of Merchandising ME. Responsibilities: Your main responsibilities will be to efficiently manage the product selection, sell through, incentives, and reports to ensure maximum profitability for the Middle East. To be the point of contact to the retail network to drive the sales and support product movement for maximum efficiency on your category. You are fully responsible for the control of product selection and movements within the ME within guidelines and support the business in the following functions: • Forecasts, replenishment and reorders • Generate and analyze reports for best sellers, slow movers (categories, cuts, sizes) • Optimization of the regional stock and buying • Embody the Brand image • Participate in Buying sessions PROFIL ▪ Previous product management retail experience ideally in the luxury goods ▪ Full knowledge of product management functions and boutique analysis. ▪ Excellent analytical & communication, emotionally intelligent, sales driven, dynamic, competition knowledge excellent grooming, leading by example, humility and humanity. ▪ A passion for Christian Dior and our collections ▪ Strong knowledge of fashion and trends |
