Job Description: |
WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING Prepare and execute supply agreements, which will protect the Company against missed deliveries, shortages, outages, poor material quality etc. Maintain vendor network to support the planned production volume and develop new sources of supply to offer lower cost alternatives. Monitor market conditions and communicate potential changes that could affect costs and/or schedules. Conduct ongoing communication, and negotiation, with established vendors and new vendors. Prepare, analyze and monitor weekly and monthly purchasing reports in eMIS & ALPLAPurchase Closely collaborate with all relevant departments (Operations, Import, Finance etc.) and Corporate Purchasing to meet plant metrics and goals. Consolidate Material Purchase Orders in order to decrease prices & achieve savings. Improve Purchasing workflow & department structure through implementation ALPLAPurchase. Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships for MENA. Maintaining purchase record for centralize procurement deals and their deliveries. Examine contracts and Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements. Collaborate with procurement team in respective MENA Plants to ensure timely data collection and consolidation. Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs. WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management is preferred. A strong understanding of business law, country regulations for import, raw material sourcing, procurement of technical parts, and outstanding negotiation skills. Ability to organize diverse information, analyze and solve disputes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with people inside and outside the organization are required. Strong understanding of factors that influence manufacturing, cost and quality of operations is preferred |
