Job Description:
What you’ll be doing  
As People Partner you will collaborate with the General Manager of EssilorLuxottca & Chalhoub Group’s Joint Venture to help support the execution of HR programs & initiatives such as talent management, succession planning, performance management, recruiting, compensation planning, & employee relations. You will bring fresh thinking to the team, support the development behind strategies, & stay focused on supporting the team & delivering meaningful results

Key Responsibilities
Utilize consulting process to help team identify associate performance needs/gaps & recommend solutions to address business issues
Ensures managers have resources to execute appropriate HR practices, processes, tools, & systems
Provide support on day-to-day HR initiatives to ensure HR is positioned to execute with excellence
Support accountability for employee engagement for the business, including development & execution of action plans
Effectively prepare leaders to execute change within their departments (e.g., acquisitions, restructuring, etc.)
Build/Foster collaborative relationships with all team members & leadership to stay informed & abreast of new initiatives & business processes
Ability to build the right culture (bridging cultures)

What you’ll need to succeed  
Fluency in Arabic is ESSENTIAL 
Previous experience of working in a HRBP/People Partner/HR manager role
GCC experience is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of HR polices/processes/programs
Sense of urgency & drive for results
Critical thinking, analytical & problem-solving skills
Demonstrated success executing change initiatives
Proven ability to work across multiple functions within a matrix environment
Responsive, with strong interpersonal/relationship-building skills
Strong collaboration/teamwork; reinforces one voice of HR
Demonstrated ability to treat confidential matters with appropriate discretion
Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational/time management skills
Ability to maintain an enthusiastic attitude & low stress level
Comfortable conversing with all levels of management (executive to store level)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
