Job Description:

Position Summary UAE Nationals are encouraged to apply   New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) seeks to appoint a MRI Radiographer, to be part of the Center for Brain and Health.   The successful candidate will be responsible for performing MRI scans on humans and supporting MEG/EEG data recordings. All these experiments will support the research work done by researchers, and will be conducted only on volunteered participants. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for supporting small animal CT and MRI imaging acquisitions.   Key Responsibilities: Perform research MRI scans on humans utilizing the Magnetom Prisma Siemens 3T MRI scanner at NYUAD Support MEG/EEG data recordings on humans Support small animal CT and MRI acquisitions Image processing using customized pipelines Statistical analysis and writing summary reports Ensure safety according to local policies, procedures, and protocols Qualifications Required Education: A BSc in radiology/medical imaging or equivalent. Must have or be eligible to have the required mandatory license from DOH (Department of Health Abu Dhabi) Willingness to work in the evenings or weekend shifts, when needed   Preferred Education: Research institutes/universities and hospitals Experience with functional MRI systems Post graduate studies   Required Experience: A minimum of 5 years full-time employment experience as MRI Technologist is required   Preferred Experience: Preferred experience with other modalities such as CT, EEG or MEG recordings Additional Information The University is an equal opportunity employer committed to equity, diversity and social inclusion.
