| Based in Dubai and reporting to the Deputy Vice President Operations, you will be responsible for managing the release of purchase requisitions to ensure that material resources are consistent with production schedules and consistently maintaining an appropriate supply of cost-efficient and high-quality materials required for a seamless production and product delivery. You will also manage different internal and external stakeholder relationships regarding forecasting and setting of material master data. Responsibilities Attend to & manage Planned Orders raised on SAP / e-mail by internal customers & verifying material requests until conversion to Purchase Requisition (PR) Support DVP Operations in setting inventory targets, maintaining a workable minimum stock level, and resolving stock issues by maintaining accurate reports Assist in managing SAP Material Master (MM) applications for relevant warehouses/locations for maintenance of accurate purchase data Minimize stock provision through monitoring and controlling slow and non-moving items Work on collecting forecasting data and updating SAP accordingly Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration. Specialist education or certification in supply chain management would be a great plus. Minimum of 3 years of Procurement experience within a manufacturing/logistics sector Minimum 2 years experience in SAP MM. Working knowledge/experience in the PP module is a plus Excellent MS Office skills (Word & PowerPoint) Commercial understanding and broad knowledge of supply chain and logistics concepts and processes Excellent negotiation & influencing skills Good English communication skills both spoken and written Good interpersonal skills and ability to handle complaints & urgent requests with minimal supervision |
