Currently, we are looking for a passionate and energetic Logistics Specialist to be based in the Contract Logistics Team. In this role, the successful candidate will provide support to the customer by effectively processing all Shipments & Operations within specified time frames thereby achieving profitability, ensuring high quality standards, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Effective, accurate, timely preparation of documents and liaise with respective stake holders for dispatch or custom clearance of Export & Import Shipments.
Accurate and timely updating of stock & details on INFOR (WMS), NSI (ERP) & Dubai Trade (Emirsal)
Sharing Pre alerts in timely manner with respective stake holders
Timely monitor the shipments status with Freight forwarders and end clients
Ensure correct compliance and security procedures are always followed.
Co-ordinate & liaise with all stake holders for shipment status, discrepancies, claims, and ensure timely closure of the same.
Coordinate and liaise with local transporters and service providers.
Manage TA refund process till closure with Customs.
Keep the relevant parties informed in case of any changes in the customs rules & regulations, which may have an impact on Logistics operations.
Escalate and closely monitor any issues affecting delay in shipment execution (i.e. order readiness, space issues with transporters, client returns/credit note issues etc.)
Maintain a proper channel of communication between the Maison and service providers.
Ensure all related KPI’s are respected as per the SLA agreed with the Maison
Propose ideas & involve in implementation of process improvement plans & Projects
Job Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate – Bachelor’s Degree. Preferred – Logistics & Supply Chain
2-3 years experience in Logistics operations.
Computer literate with working knowledge of SAP
Self- motivated, Innovative, Organised, Honest and has Initiative.
