You will be responsible for most memorable experience and give seamless connectivity to the Guest during their stay and make sure all the system is working without any downtime to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
You will be the first point of contact for any IT related Guest complaints and make sure that it is attended to on top priority.
You need to make sure all the Hotel applications and computer networks are working as per Dorchester Collection standard.
To make sure that everyone follows all Dorchester Collection IT policies and procedures and monitors them periodically.
Assist in ensuring critical systems, specifically Opera, Simphony, Call Accounting, HSIA, PABX and Food & Beverage Point of Sales computer systems are available twenty-four (24) hours per day.
Hands-on experience in support for Desktop OS and applications including patches.
Monitor the IT Helpdesk calls and close them on a priority basis.
You need to make sure all the backups are completed as per the schedule and inform the IT Manager in case there are any issues.
Assist the Guest if there is any support or assistance during the stay.
You need to follow the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) to all the telecom rooms in the hotel and update the record accordingly.
