The Candidate

We are looking for a natural self-starter who demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities, can focus on, and execute, tasks with a sharp eye for detail. An outgoing, people-friendly personality with an ability to think ‘on your feet’ during changing situations is also essential.

You’ll work closely with the management team to develop constantly evolving service goals

Key Responsibilities
Registers guests and accommodates special requests whenever possible
Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the Hotel
Updates Housekeeping Department by notifying them of all check outs, early check ins, special requests and day-use rooms
Reads and initials the logbook on a daily basis. Be aware of daily activities taking place in the Hotel
Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to designated Manager
Stays up to date on rooms rates, packages, discounts in relation to other departments
Complete check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
Deliver and safely storage Guest luggage
Responsible for returning guests’ passports after scanning them immediately
Serve as a key point of contact for Guests and efficiently respond to Guest enquiries

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
A Hands-on approach with a ‘can-do!’ work attitude; with a fun-to-work-with energy at all times!
A commitment to delivering exceptional guest services with a passion
An ability to find creative solutions while taking ownership for all duties and tasks assigned
Teamwork-oriented
Internship period of 6-12 months
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is a necessity with proficiency in multiple languages will be a bonus
