| We have a great opportunity for an experienced PRO associate to join the team in HR. The successful applicant will have a good working knowledge of UAE labour laws and experience dealing with government bodies. What we are looking for? Hardworking. Arabic Speaker. Previous PRO/Government Relations experience. Understands the need for efficiency and organisation. Completes tasks in a timely manner. Communicated effectively with colleagues/management. Lives and breathes the Shangri-La Values. What will you do? Visa processing. Type, manage and track all online applications on the E-Government sites. Schedule medicals and Emirates ID for Hotel Colleagues. Assist with general queries related to labour and immigration. Remain available to help the Government Relations Manager on any and all tasks related to the PRO function. Remain informed and up to date concerning any changes/amendments to the existing labour law or any new/upcoming laws.
