The Candidate As Lifestyle executive, you will join a committed team, driven with the intent of delivering ‘FIVE-star’ experiences to an international diaspora in the heart of vibrant Dubai and Zurich. The VIBE at FIVE is all about performing optimally while having the best professional experience of your life. You will be expected to have a passion for your role, disrupt norms all whilst having the best time of your life. As our ideal candidate, you have proven experience in a highly active environment. Your organizational, communication, and leadership skills are second to none and you enjoy developing guest solutions that break boundaries. We are looking for a natural self-starter who demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities, can focus on, and execute, tasks with a sharp eye for detail. An outgoing, people-friendly personality with an ability to think ‘on your feet’ during changing situations is also essential. You’ll work closely with the management team to develop constantly evolving service goals. Key Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival and bid farewell upon departure Give courtesy calls and complete the task of Performance Monitor daily Maintain an active presence in the hotel lobby to greet and assist incoming/current guests Maintain a neat, tidy, pleasing and professional appearance at all times Handle guest complaints immediately and follow-up thoroughly Review and prepares next day’s arrival reports for GC, VIPs and those accorded special status, ensuring that these are highlighted to the management and necessary related functions are activated Ensure that guest history is updated on a regular basis with accurate and pertinent information Assist and coordinate with the Front Office Reception team to ensure consistent services Assist Front Office team with Check-in/ Check-out processes during busy operation periods Promote inter-hotel sales and in-house facilities and be aware at all times of banquet (and other) events, hotel facilities, F&B outlets, special promotions/offers for the purpose of assisting guests and offering precise information Actively obtain feedback from guests to improve services and facilities Inspect VIP room status and amenities in good order prior to guests’ arrival Ensures that, whenever possible, guests receive personal recognition Escorts VIP guests to their allocated room and elaborate on all the available facilities/events/offers and room’s features Prepare and coordinate the distribution of guest amenities, welcome letters and fruit setups for VIPs, GC and long-stay guests, as required Ensures clear communication between Concierge, Front Office and Reservations, in particular Report daily activities in logbook and attend daily operations briefings Comply at all times with Group’s health, safety and hygiene regulations Is familiar with Group’s emergency procedures Performs other duties as assigned by Service Manager Gives a proper hand over at the end of every shift Requirements What We’re Looking For You take pride in offering our guests an exciting and lively conversation, and helpful suggestions A welcoming and enthusiastic energy Hands-on approach and flexibility with a ‘can-do’ work attitude Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion Ability to find creative solutions while taking ownership for all duties and tasks assigned Teamwork-oriented Positive outlook, outgoing personality and fun-to-work-with!
