| The Finance Manager, Business Partner provides analytical challenge and partnering support to the Architecture & Design Studio unit, whilst being responsible for the day to day financial aspects of planning, reporting and governance. Reporting to the CBU Head of Finance and dotted to Architecture & Design Studio Leads, the role will partner with the unit’s leadership to drive growth, develop business cases, manage the units cost base, control the recharge process and drive process improvements. Key Responsibilities: Business Partnering Partner with unit leadership to ensure the business achieves its financial targets and objectives. Drive operational efficiency and ensure cost effective resource allocations. Manage day to day operational costs and overheads for the unit. Providing financial insight to business unit management, including preparation of management reports. Responsible for all aspects of the units strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting processes. Governance and Control Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Partner with Communities and Properties finance teams on the development and implementation of best financial practices for the unit. Develop and implement a simple efficient cross charging mechanism for internal and external stakeholders. |
