| Education & Qualifications – B. Com/ Semi qualified CA/ICWA/CMA Experience – 5 to 6 years Specialized Training Well versed with MS Office. Well versed with ERP packages Excellent excel skills Knowledge of the retail business and its functions Good Communication Skills JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE POSITION Key Accountabilities VAT Reconciliation of transaction between VAT Return & OFIN. Coordinate with respective stakeholders to resolve the issues identified during VAT reconciliation. Identify & propose the manual correction entries in OFIN/VAT tool to R2R team wherever applicable. Closely work with central VAT team to ensure that all VAT related activities are performed as per VAT guidelines, maintain all the required records to support FTA audit & close the monthly VAT return filing as per set timelines. Knowledge of AP, AR processes & Vendor Reconciliations. MIS Budgeting and Forecasting Ensure timely completion of annual budgeting/forecasting activities in a detailed manner, in order to comply with the corporate guidelines. Perform GL level variance analysis vs LY & budget and update the valid reason. Update the adjusted budget in Cognos on monthly basis as per set timelines. Derive key insights from data analysis and support business by detailed presentations, in order to help the business to exploit the opportunities. Books of Accounts Closely work with R2R team to ensure that month end book closure is done accurately and within the set timelines with detailed review & making necessary provisions. Closely work with R2R team to complete the monthly FAR (Financial assurance report) activities as per set timelines & coordinate with respective stakeholders to close the highlighted action points. Support the business team in creating the new cost Centres by coordinating with Cognos/IT team Bank Reconciliation knowledge is a plus. |
