| Responsible for preparations to do the shift, like preparing F&B working space and utensils, cleaning materials etc. Taking food and drink orders from guests and being knowledgeable in doing so. Helping guests with their questions and choices. Going to rooms or other outlets to take orders if required. Next to order taking and serving guests do other tasks if required. This role requires cleaning tasks during and at the end of the shift. If necessary helping in other outlets. Taking responsibility for own working space and equipment. Make sure guests receive what they have ordered. Do up and cross selling when taking orders. Know the software in the F&B outlets to be able to put in the orders. Keep good communication with kitchen and F&B staff about special requests, dietary information and changes in orders of guests. Ensuring guest orders gets delivered to the rooms in a timely fashion. Making sure working space and surfaces are clean. Always stay friendly, courteous and professional with guests, associates and other departments. Take feedback from guests and notifying management about it. Share ideas for improvement. Attend departmental meetings if necessary.
