CAREEM DESIGN RESEARCH INTERNSHIP PROGRAM Want to be a part of a journey where we simplify the lives of millions of users across the globe? At Careem, we’re looking for UXR Interns who are intuitive, empathetic, and curious leaders. We expect you to conduct end-to-end user research in all aspects of our customer experience and work closely with strategic partners in technology and product teams. This is a great opportunity to bring to life our key initiatives across mobility, food delivery, and payments as well as learn from some of the best UX experts in the industry! Term: 6 months (depending on college programs and availability of interns) Requirements: 2 interns every 6 months Roles and responsibilities: Participate in briefing meetings Help the Design team recruit relevant users Participate in research activities (specifically Arabic) and data collection Participate in research data cleaning and analysis sessions Work alongside other researchers on report writing and attend final presentations Requirements: MA/MS in Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Social Psychology, Human Factors, Human Computer Interaction, Behavioral Economics, or a related field A strong portfolio that illustrates design research projects A thorough understanding of the entire range of research process and methods: qualitative and quantitative, attitudinal and behavioral, with deep interest and knowledge in one or more areas Solid understanding of the product development lifecycle and how research can help at each stage Fluent in Arabic Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills; ability to distill complex ideas into concise and accurate narratives that enlighten and inspire Multitasking capability Storytelling skills Passion for understanding the latest learnings and innovations in behavioral science, research methods, and UX design and applying these to your work |
