Roles and Responsibilities
1. Provides leadership to the maintenance of a safe work place. Ensures engineering design is safe to construct, commission and operate and decommission.  Defines and implements whole of life, sustainable engineering solutions.
2. Works closely with sales teams, Location Directors, CSG Location Managers, Location Managers of Engineering and Location Process and Technology Managers to

Ensures preparation of Monthly manpower plan
Ensure quality of deliverables prepared
Implement SEAL in process design (Safe and Sustainable design for Asset life cycle)- Safe and Sustainable Engineering for Asset Lifecycle (SEAL) is the 5Worley enhanced engineering delivery framework that we apply on projects. Its intent is to improve the delivery of safe and sustainable asset lifecycle design solutions.
Ensure chargeability of discipline team members
Support in manhours estimates of disciplines, optimize where possible
Implement digital tools in design
Ensure to have a reliable approach towards monitoring and understanding the competency of personnel within their team. Competency monitoring is particularly important where the Location is developing a new capability (either internally, through acquisition of another organization, or through the hire of additional employees)
When hiring new personnel, assess competency of the candidate in line with the position they are applying for.
Conduct/support – Technical Peer Reviews (TPRs) shall be undertaken on Standalone and Portfolio projects to monitor the technical compliance of our engineering and value‐add through sharing of knowledge and experience.
  Share Lessons Learnt across the location and amongst other process team members
4. Assists with Process licensor selection and agreements
5. Oversees any Process technology development initiatives including fundamental research and development
6. Maintains relationships with technology providers, universities and other potential technology providers.
7. Develops and maintains Process and Technology Technical Standards.
8. Ensure collaboration and sharing of knowledge across the Process and Technology group(s).
9. Provide competent resources to projects.
Understand and follow the requirements of this Technical Stewardship Standard.
Appoint checkers and peer reviewers.
Provide knowledge and technical assistance to project Discipline Leads and team members.
Drive a program to maintain competency of personnel within the team.
Lead or assist with conducting TPRs.
Report significant engineering errors to the Location Manager of Engineering.
Collect discipline related lessons learned and share within team.
Ensure hours are being included in project manhour estimates for Technical Stewardship activities (such as TPRs).
Coach the team to comply with the requirements of EMS.
Mentor less experienced engineers.

Experience:
Minimum 20 years’ experience in a oil / gas and petrochemical industries.
