About the Role The candidate will co-own the conversion & retention metrics. He/she will use the app/web data to plan the conversion are retention improvement strategies. The candidate will have to work closely with the business teams for improving the business & product metrics with the help of data backed insights. Core Responsibilities: • Analyze customer behavior using browse & sales data • Build models to create customer cohorts, predict the churn • Work closely with retention & conversion managers to improve retention & conversion on app/web • Work with the data engineering team to ensure the availability of desired data in the databases • Provide product feature improvement insights • Run A/B testing experiments on the app along with the conversion manager • Help category teams in optimizing the pricing & assortment by providing data backed insights • Lead & mentor a team on analysts Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Master’s degree in Economics /Statistics or Management • 4-6 years of experience working in data science/ consumer analytics role in an online retail firm or • 4-6 years of experience in a consulting firm with exposure to consumer analytics projects in retail industry • Demonstrated experience in driving improvements in conversion & retention metrics • Well versed with modelling techniques (GBM, Time-series analysis, Regression etc. |
