|Wyndham Dubai Deira is now seeking a Cluster Assistant Sales Manager – Groups & Events to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
The role holder will contribute to the performance of the hotel by proactively soliciting, managing and contracting events and group enquiries. He/she develops opportunities within the assigned segments, industries and territories for Wyndham Dubai Deira and exceeds personal and team related revenue and room night goals. He/she also provides a consistent professional approach to all clients through the highest standards of product and service while actively contributing to meeting and exceeding sales targets and profit margins.
Manages the implementation of the hotel sales strategy to ensure all facilities and services are aligned according to budget guidelines
Interacts with clients through organized meetings, entertainments, familiarization trips, site inspections, trade shows, sales trip visits and through any other form to grow business
Solicits new business and existing accounts to meet and exceed Groups revenue goals through various avenues including but not limited to telephone solicitation and outside sales calls.
Achieves the annually established as groups revenue targets
Coordinates with Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing on different strategies to meet goals
Understands the overall United Arab Emirates market as well as competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand.
Coordinate events from initial planning stages until the completion of the event with the operation and execution of the detailed information is as per mention on BEO
Following up on payment method and procedure, follow the approved credit facility procedures
Work closely with the revenue manager to continuously monitor competitive activity and implement any agreed changes to sales and marketing strategy.
Ensure any Group information sheets are distributed at lease one week prior to group arrival
Ensure that a copy of the proposal, contract and signed contracts are attached to the business block for future reference.
Be fully knowledgeable regarding the property, ongoing promotions & upgrades
Following-up on all commitments made to a client in a timely manner and with all the details and services promised

EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATION
Degree in Hospitality Management or Tourism
2 to 3 years experience in the same role in a 4/5 star hotel in UAE
UAE driving license is a plus
Full knowledge in OPERA sales and catering is a must
Fluency in writing, speaking and reading in English is a must, Arabic and other languages is a plus
