About the Role:
Our ultra-luxury hotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banqueting Chef de Cuisine to the lead the banquet kitchen. As the Banqueting Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Role Responsibilities:
Develop and execute menus in line with the hotel’s standards and ethos
Manage the kitchen team and ensure that food is prepared to the highest standards
Ensure that all kitchen staff adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards
Control and manage kitchen expenses, including food and labor costs
Maintain high levels of food quality and consistency
Maintain a positive and productive work environment
Train, motivate and mentor kitchen staff
Job Skills and Requirements:
Previous experience working in large luxury benquet operations is a must
Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Senior Sous Chef in a luxury hotel
Passion for food and a commitment to excellence
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
A degree or diploma in culinary arts is preferred, but not essential
