| Consortio RG is excited to be leading the search for a Chartering Manager / Chartering Team Leader to head up a brand-new division for our client’s transition into the dry bulk market. As a brand that already specialises in chartering tankers, this is an incredible opportunity for an experienced professional to join an expanding force that’s taking the shipping industry by storm. The ideal Chartering Manager / Team Leader is a self-motivated individual who has the proven ability to work both independently and as a leader; capable of lifting / running the dry bulk desk together with providing support and guidance to other divisions and team members when necessary. Amongst other functions, it will be your responsibility to establish systems and practices to encourage workflow improvements and to enhance the business unit’s productivity. As an exceptional communicator, your interpersonal skills will enable you to conduct complex negotiations and leverage on networks to negotiate with various parties on bunkers, spot and time charter deals and marketing tonnage. To be eligible for this role, you will: Have at least 8 years’ experience as Dry Bulk Chartering Manager Be willing and able to live and work from Dubai Be fluent in both written and spoken English Have ideally managed teams Be comfortable working in an autonomous manner Embody a warm, charismatic and engaging persona This role is the definition of an unmissable opportunity for a Senior Chartering Manager to take either that step forward in their career or for a manager who is seeking the benefit of working with a forward-thinking, modern force in the shipping world.
