Responsibilities: To promote all principal airline products/services for dnata and to provide comprehensive sales support and information brokerage service (freight rates, flight details, bookings, inter-line connections) to cargo agents to ensure the products are well promoted in the market. Discusses safety concerns openly and reports them to the concerned supervisor Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner Follows day-to-day operations related to own job Conducts/ Receives calls and follows up on the existing ones to identify new revenue opportunities and maintain existing accounts Builds and maintains relations with existing sales leads and decision makers by providing them with prompt and professional service Works with sales team regularly to verify lead information, airline rates, schedules, capacity and feeding back market data to ensure the accuracy and availability of data in a timely manner Identifies trends in customer inquiries to ensure that the required stakeholders are updated on the information Ensures airway bill execution at Cargo Partners, thereby maximising revenue opportunities by selling of higher profit services Reverts promptly to the cases where pre-flight customer inquiries are passed to the relevant dnata Cargo sections or to the airline feedback Sends out the required broadcast messages to all customers briefing them with the changes to any of the freight products under guidance from the sales team Develops reports regularly which include information on the number of the outgoing calls, outcome purpose and follows up on list of opportunities Qualifications & Experience Primary experience: Logistics/Cargo Qualifications: 12 years Schooling (O levels) or High school (A levels) – 1 to 2 years of experience in Cargo and Logistics experience with an international airline preferably – Basic IT and Computer Literacy Skills – English Language Skills – Basic Communication Skills – Proficient Negotiation Skills – Proficient Safety Awareness Skills |
