| Due to our constant growth we are currently looking for an experienced Buyer in the Middle East to cover the purchasing activities of our Dubai plant. Do you have experience in raw material and packaging procurement in the Middle East? Do you find yourself well in a fast paced, international work environment? MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Source raw materials and packaging for our Dubai business and coordinate relevant activities with the Global Procurement Team to ensure the business needs are met efficiently and effectively. Provide cross-functional support as the procurement Business Partner for Dubai plant. Ensure robust day-to-day management of business interfaces e.g. SAP, product supply, markets and S&OP processes. Optimising cost and inventory of raw materials and packaging to support operational efficiency and business growth. Provide procurement support to cross-functional projects Identify and deliver Continuous Cost Improvement (CCI) opportunities. Manage supplier performance against agreed objectives, putting in place corrective actions to achieve best in class supplier performance Ensure continuity of supply for raw materials and packaging through the creation and execution of a supply risk management strategy. Use reporting tools and communicate regularly on the progress of projects to ensure successful execution of agreed procurement strategies. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: Degree level qualification, ideally with business related Masters/MBA post-graduate. Procurement focus would clearly be advantageous. Ability to speak fluent English, other languages are useful. Proven experience in an international business, ideally FMCG. Able to demonstrable experience and results in managing projects. Good communication skills, basic negotiation & influencing, and a desire to expand capabilities and take on more challenges. Team player with a liking to human-oriented culture. Able to develop transformational category strategies and then execute in partnership with stakeholders and suppliers. An individual acting proactively to leverage procurement’s strategic position. Able to exhibit confidence in understanding and managing potential supply failure situations that could undermine customer service. Efficient, results and reporting orientated. Works with the customer in mind and manages stakeholders’ expectations appropriately. Confident and change orientated, and comfortable within a matrix management structure in a multinational environment. Evidence of maturity, collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal), strong interpersonal skills, influencing ability.
