Job Description:
Lead Advanced Product Management activities for Chevrolet, Corvette, Cadillac, GMC, and other General Motors brands in selected markets within GM Strategic Markets, Alliances & Distributors (SMAD).

Responsibilities:
Lead CSO, post-CSO, and active life-cycle portfolio and pricing initiatives in SMAD distributor markets Israel and South East Asia (Philippines & Rest of AP)
Support the Uz Portfolio Planning Manager with CSO, post-CSO, and active life-cycle portfolio and pricing initiatives in Uzbekistan & Uz Export markets
Portfolio initiatives:
Identify portfolio business opportunities based on competitive analysis in collaboration with local Sales Operations teams, frame initiatives (AFS, CR), develop business cases, obtain leadership concurrence, align initiatives with Program, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory teams, etc., work towards obtaining NoD approval
Launch support as required – Work with Export Program Managers and Program Team
Accessories: Create opportunities with GM accessories
Pricing initiatives:Lead portfolio pricing from CSO onwards. Ensure to optimize positioning and business cases prior to launch and align with internal and external stakeholders as required. Track market dynamics in distributor markets Israel and South East Asia and optimize positioning and business case in collaboration with local Sales Operation teams accordingly
Prepare price proposals and presentation material for pricing gate reviews
Improve pricing process, tools, and templates where applicable
Work in collaboration with other Planning areas (other GMI market Portfolio Planning, Global Planning integration, Forecasting, Market Research, Competitor Intelligence, etc.)
Develop material and present in executive level reviewsPresent in SMAD Product Forum
Present in partnership reviews (e.g. GMIO PB) for portfolio and gate review input (e.g. AFS/NoD, Red Zone CR approval, CSO & post-CSO input & etc.)
Support GM Business Plan and volume sign-off process
Lead Product-related discussion in meeting with GM Distributors (UMI for Israel & TCCCI for Philippines)Support Government Relations discussions for products (e.g. regulation)
Continually improve knowledge base and skill set for all systems and tools

QUALIFICATION
Experience with General Motors Planning, Program Management or Marketing preferred or equivalent experience
Comfortable in leading discussion with senior leaders and external partners and owning issues through to conclusion
Broad knowledge of customers, competition, markets, brands, vehicle segments, trends, business case
Ability to translate data into insights and recommendation, actionable portfolio opportunities
Works effectively and collaboratively in and outside the function to align stakeholders and drive decisions
Action oriented, completes projects, understands the assignment, demonstrates sense of ownership and sense of urgency
Leads and inspires others; articulates a vision
Communicates clearly and succinctly
Ability to tailor messages to the audience and read the room
Develops insights and recommendations when faced with vaguely defined problems and complex issues; able to separate big things from little things and bring out insights / recommendations in a compelling way
