About the role As a GBS Accountant you are responsible to apply and adhere to all Company Accounting policies and procedures and to actively contribute to revenue recognition of the business performance. The position reports to the GBS Finance Treasury Controller in UAE and will work closely with the GBS Finance Manager , the GBS Finance organization as well as other Wilhelmsen business divisions in UAE. What you will do Allocation & Accounting of inward remittances within 24 hours upon receipt of bank advice. Accounting all cash payment vouchers within the KPIs. Arrange online or Cheques payments and send for authorization and confirm to payee. H2H and urgent payment processing as per the requests. Supplier SOA Reconciliation & matching to our accounting systems. Co ordinating with Operations for unaccounted invoices and updates. Data entry related to Accounts payable. Coordination with concerned team for timely booking of invoices . Monthly billing of intercompany transactions. Assist in internal & external audits. Qualifications Degree in accounting or finance or equivalent in professional accounting body. Minimum 3 years working experience. Good command of the English language (both written and spoken). Ability to think analytically. Ability to handle pressure and meeting tight deadlines. Proficient in MS office applications especially MS Excel. |
