Job Description:
Job Purpose
Responsible for driving best practices within the Strategic Planning team. to ensure appropriate planning and investment within priority markets/regions and on the Airline’s major global initiatives in order to deliver maximum return on investment Support the Strategic planning team in standardising the planning approach across mid and upper funnel campaigns, Sponsorship activations – including building and maintaining standard tool kits for analysis. Responsible for continuously documenting key learnings from campaigns to feed future planning initiatives. Champion always on marketing programs, lifecycle programs and highlight contribution of these to the company’s revenue. Apply both performance precision with planning insight to identify marketing initiatives that can be automated, thereby empowering our business units to a self-serve capability and delivering truly effective marketing programs/support

Job Accountabilities
Responsible for identifying and recommending best practices in how the plan can be continually optimised to get maximum return on investment, while adhering to guidelines and KPIs set by the Planning Managers.
Support the Manager Strategic Planning with quantifying annual budgets at region/market level and assist in marketing budget setting process. Continuously monitor how we are performing versus commercial targets across regions/ markets and highlight deviations, to pre-empt required marketing support.
Support global/pan-national brand and tactical campaigns m. Incorporate these into the annual plan, and measure impact on the *DRAO program while supporting these campaigns. Update and communicate Performance to planning managers.
Ensure the always on marketing activity is accurately monitored and measured using available analytics tools, deriving data driven insights to make informed investment decisions.
Provide regular reports and insights to Planning Managers for all campaign activity.
Escalate any local market issues with platforms, publishers or technologies to the relevant Channel Manager or agency/partner. Rectify and escalate any local market issues with platforms, publishers or technologies across the ad tech stack if data granularity or quality issues are identified. Work collaboratively to resolve the issue, measuring changes in KPIs along the way. Share this information with the Strategic Planning Managers and Media Managers.
Act as the day-to-day point of contact for relevant performance agencies/partnerships at a local market level.
Share best practice ideas from across markets with the Performance Team and Channel Managers in order to foster innovation and creative thinking within demand-driven performance activities.
Ensure the implementation of governance of all marketing activity ensuring transparency. Identify and escalate governance and fraud issues in local markets for rectification if the issues cannot be resolved locally. Ensure appropriate tagging and brand safety controls are in place. Follow industry best practice in identifying and targeting segments and audiences.
Maintain compliance to Emirates Group privacy principles and work with the Data Privacy Network Liaison within CCMB to ensure privacy and security of personal data is considered by design and default in all aspects of the role.

Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications

Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
Experience
Airline experience – preferably in Marketing & Media Communication, Brand/ Product Management

Knowledge/skills
Collaborative
Strong ability to synthesize insights distributed across multiple systems (Excel, SQL)
Experience developing management level reporting
Must be familiar with Airline industry data (marketing, e-commerce etc.) with strong analytical skills
Data visualization skills and ability to present technical solutions to non-technical audience
Strategic Planning Capability
Self-motivated, ability to identify problems and work methodically to solve them
Experience with MicroStrategy, Tableau or similar data visualization tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills
Ability to work cross functionally within CCMB on various projects
Ability to handle concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy
The ability to work independently, prioritise and time-manage whilst working on several projects simultaneously
