Job Description:
The job description states the essential job requirements, job duties, job responsibilities, and skills required to perform the role of the Storekeeper and will be used during performance management. In addition to the below, you will be expected to undertake other duties as directed by the CEO.

Core Responsibilities 
Ensure approved purchase request forms are submitted for every requests in line to the procurement policy
Create purchase requests and purchase orders using the MS DAX portal
Ensure strict adherence to the procurement policy and all the purchase requests are routed through the designated buyers
Follow up on all the purchase orders and coordinate the deliveries with the respective vendors
Maintain a positive professional relationship with the vendors to ensure the timely deliveries of all goods and services
Work closely with procurement team to ensure the timely deliveries
Responsible to verify all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase orders, delivery note and agreed quantity has been received
Receive and forward all types of goods and deliveries in and out of the office to the correct point of storage area
Follow all standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store’s area of operation
Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items
Ensure the Delivery notes and invoices are processed on a timely manner and submitted to accounts department for payments
Ensure all store requisitions are signed/ approved as per the standard operating procedure
Responsible for issuing the items from store as per the approved store requisitions
Monitor and take inventory on regular basis to compile orders based on par levels or needs
Maintain clear and organised records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly
Monitor Periodic Automatic Replacement levels for all stationary items to ensure proper levels
Responsible for storage of operational stock and regular check on the storage facilities to ensure strict compliance with HSE regulations
Maintain an up to date the asset list
Ensure all the transactions are documented
Follow up on documentation of after-hours issues ensuring it is in accordance with established internal controls and procedures
Monitor and manage the renewal of subscriptions, software and lease
Assist operations team with additional documentation works
Communication
Communicates effectively with faculty, staff, colleagues and in the community (i.e. verbal, nonverbal and written communication).
Performs those activities as will be required for the general welfare as requested by the Manager of Operations.
