| We are looking for a talented REGIONAL SALES LEADER to join our team specializing in SALES for our POWER SYSTEMS BUSINESS SEGMENT in DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. In this role, the candidate will make an impact in the following ways: Consistently deliver profitable growth for the Powergen business by working with and through the sales channels to provide customers with Cummins solutions Setting and achieving sales goals with revenue and profit targets for the Powergen business. He/she will be required to drive sales by planning, controlling and directing activities in collaboration with the distributor sales teams Implement strategic approach to sales for a medium to large business segment (for Powergen) by developing and implementing sales goals, strategies, promotional programs, territory management and resource allocation Coaching and developing and motivating sales staff for direct and indirect reports by way of setting their training & development goals Build positive customer relationships that enable identification of a customer’s needs, business model and buying process Work closely with segment heads, functional leaders and key internal and external stakeholders to enhance the customer experience To be successful in this role the candidate will need the following: Deep understanding of the Powergen industry in the MENA region (Middle East & North Africa); particularly in Iraq, UAE & KSA and ability to help maintain & grow the market share for Cummins by way of increased engagement Functional experience of managing PowerGen sales and managing a sales team for a large / medium size distribution entity in the MENA region Ability to retain and grow relationships with key stakeholders including distributor partners and customers/end-clients/consultants Demonstrate strategic mindset with the ability to formulate & take lead on strategies / initiatives which address short-term and long-term business success This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. |
