| Based within our Management Consulting business line, Principals report directly to a Partner and are responsible for the success of multiple and complex project engagements. Principals help generate leads to contribute to the company’s growth and build strong client relationships. Responsibilities: Responsible for the success of multiple or large project engagements Is able to ensure successful project delivery, efficiently dividing and assigning modules among more junior team members and structuring the project’s analytical approach Presents entire documents to client audiences including C-levels and is able to lead complex content discussions Generates valuable insights for the client and for the creation of new intellectual capital within the firm Develops end-to-end documents both for existing engagements or business development proposals. Is able to manage complex and multiple documents in parallel Ensures project scope is properly managed and is able to take decisions when trade-offs between project and team arise Takes full ownership of the administrative responsibilities within the project Able to build senior client relationships across multiple accounts that can lead to business leads Supports Partners’ relationship building efforts within different accounts and leads. Is able to identify, discuss and secure new business leads Is a subject matter expert for selected content areas in a range of telecom topics, leading transfer knowledge and generating new intellectual capital for the firm Ensures project scope is properly managed and is able to take decisions when trade-offs between project and team arise Takes full ownership of the administrative responsibilities within the project Able to build senior client relationships across multiple accounts that can lead to business leads Supports Partners’ relationship building efforts within different accounts and leads Is a subject matter expert for selected content areas in a range of telecom topics, leading transfer knowledge and generating new intellectual capital for the firm Acts as a role model, builds project morale, encourages recognition and is always ready to provide/receive feedback and seek to improve Key Requirements: 8-10 years’ experience within a top tier management consultancy firm In depth knowledge and interest in the TMT industry International exposure and experience working in both developed and emerging markets is an advantage An MBA from a leading global business school Highly organised and structured, with excellent problem solving skills Combines business sense with commercial capabilities Builds good professional and personal relationships with client teams at senior management levels Quickly gains comfort with content areas which are unfamiliar and drives content leadership Team player and leader, open-minded, possesses cultural awareness and sensitivity Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and add value Acts as a role model and mentor to junior consultants Flexible to accommodate frequent travel Mature demeanor and positive attitude, as well as discretion and sensitivity when dealing with clients |
