Job Description:
Aldar Education is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Officer to support our growing family of owned and operated schools in the UAE. Due to planned current and future expansion we are looking to add to our People and Culture Team supporting our British, US and IB curricula network of schools. 
The successful candidates will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the region.

Job Purpose
To manage and achieve AE education/non-education recruitment objectives and meet the organization staffing needs pro-actively.
To be directly engaged and be responsible for end-to-end recruitment process from planning, advertising, sourcing, attracting, scheduling and interviewing to on-boarding employees.
To contribute to the set up and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential candidates, create and implement end-to-end candidate hiring processes to ensure a positive experience and form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear candidate/interviewer expectations.

Main Duties:
Implement the company recruitment strategies to target and on-board qualified employees.
Oversee and mange end-to-end recruitment process from approvals to formulating job description, sourcing, interviewing and extending contracts.
Manage the recruiting process to meet hiring goals through the use of effective resource management by using ie the Company’s Application Tracking System (Taleo), relevant job boards and social media.
Work with internal teams and hiring managers to support with recruitment process.
Provide recruitment counselling and guidance to hiring managers for ie, selection criteria for candidates.
Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each role.
Identify and refine down most suitable talent from available candidates.
Assess candidates’ information, including CVs, portfolios and references.
Support organizing and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline and identify talents for the company.
Collaborate with the internal P&C teams for timely employee on-boarding and orientation.
Maintain and promote company policies and procedures pertaining to the recruitment process established.

Specific Duties:
Identify areas for process improvement in the Talent Section and proactively suggest solutions.
Drive Recruitment related projects related but not limited to ie company growth, new supplier.
Guide and train new Talent Team members and HROs on Talent process or usage of portals.
Maintain company’s policy for talent benchmarking, talent assessment and interviewing.
Manage the entire recruiting lifecycle to meet our various and ever-changing staffing goals across all levels, locations, and business units.
Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks as well as maintaining relationship with external recruitment and souring agencies.
Creation of Social Media adverts to increase candidate attention.
Drive of regular portal training refresher from external platform supplier for concerned employees ie HROs, Talent employees.
Contribute to regular HRO workshops with Talent related item points.
Design, plan and execute selection processes (conduct screens & interviews and collaborate with hiring manager).
Work closely and communicate consistently with hiring managers to foster timeliness, accuracy, and completion of the recruiting process.
Provide HQ and Schools recruitment status updates to management weekly.
Initiate, monitor, review and report candidates background checks and safer recruitment procedures.
Represent company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities.
Build long-term relationships with past and potential candidates.
Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities.
Prepare and manage employment contracts and candidates’ communications on employment related matters.
Administer, submit and ensure accuracy of all employment documents for new employees and liaise with GR team for visa and MOL contract processing.
Coordinate with 3rd party vendors and negotiate contracts where required.
Assess new agencies or platforms based on offering process technical evaluations.
Oversee the onboarding process for new employees.
Update and inform related sections with newly hired employees ie. Payroll, Operations.
Implement and analyse post boarding surveys and provide related reports.
Drive weekly Talent reports and ensure accuracy in data submission,
Keep records of all materials/documents used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders.
Be proactive in social media recruitment, vacancy marketing and profile headhunting.
Work closely with marketing department to develop creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challenges.
Other duties as required. 

 Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or similar BA in related field with additional HR/Talent qualification.

Minimum Experience:
Min of 4-5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, recruitment – preferably within the Education sector and experience in mass recruitment.

Job Specifics, Knowledge & Skills
Profound work experience in talent acquisition
Familiarity with social media, CV databases, and professional networks
Experience with full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
Strong knowledge of the UAE labour law
Good knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ie Taleo)
Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates
A keen understanding of the requirements for each role in the company
Proficient in using MS Office
Demonstrates accountability for own tasks and responsibilities
Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time.
Experience in mass recruitment.
Takes responsibility for own learning and encourages others to the do the same.
Good understanding of ADEK/similar govt body requirement
Fluent English communication skills, written and oral; professional conduct at all times.
Attention to detail with diligent follow up, and able to execute in a timely manner.
Skilled in multi-tasking and handling pressure.
