Job Description: |
Job Purpose Supply chain manager develops and monitors a company’s supply chain strategy. The goal is to improve productivity and efficiency and reduce costs while securing high quality material for the company. Job Description Plan logistics, store and outbound/inbound transportation Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times and transport costs of all stock including raw materials, hardware and consumables Resolve any problems or complaints connected to stores, logistics, and procurement Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets Analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements Ensure to follow supplier approval policies set by the group Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company Manage the consignment agreements Identify, plan and execute potential saving projects as per the group’s guidelines and classifications Align with sales team on lead time Expect unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies Carry out the internal monthly reporting of costs QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Any business degree or equivalent education preferably MBA At least 5-year experience in the same field Supply chain related certifications are a plus We are the ASSA ABLOY Group Our people have made us the global leader in access solutions.
