Company Description
Anantara World Islands Dubai Resort is in the final stages of development in the World Islands archipelago, located in the Arabian Gulf, approximately four kilometres off the coast of Dubai in the UAE. The new resort is the first hotel in the South American continent of the World Islands development. The island will be completely dedicated to the resort, with guests able to access by boat in just 15 minutes from the jetty at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort.
The property will feature 70 keys comprised of suites, beach and pool villas. Villas will have a private pool, an outdoor dining area and direct access to the beach, making the perfect retreat for families and couples. In-room spa treatments, a gym and a kid’s club will also be part of the new resort’s amenities. Flora and fauna are abundant on the island, so it is truly a place to escape the city and immerse in nature.
Dining options will include a Mediterranean al fresco restaurant and Arabic-Indian specialty dining, perfect for romantic dinners and offering barbecues on the beach. In addition, freshly caught seafood will be prepared by a talented in-house team of chefs who will bring the finest fare to the island. A stylish bar lounge will offer magnificent panoramic views of the Dubai skyline, including the famous landmarks Burj Khalifa and Burj al Arab, even more special at sunset.

Job Description
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Anantara team members always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:
·   Ensuring all storerooms are secure at all time, and that all received goods are stored in their correct location.
·  To control stock in designed store room by means of stock rotation, and keeping appropriate par stock levels.
·  Maintaining storerooms, passageways, floors, walls, office areas and dock areas so that the highest degree of sanitation is kept.
·  Ensuring that all requisitions are fully completed and checked before being released to the respective departments.
·  Ensuring all requisition is properly authorized.
·  Make recommendations to the Cost Controller regarding stock movement and also report on obsolete stocks.
·  Publishing and following up on slow moving report to the users and ensure that actions are taken.
·  Monitoring stock movement and providing with cost effective methods of handling and changes of Par levels
·  Ensure that inventory counts are carried in a proper manner and that an accurate count is done and recorded.
·  Any discrepancies on inventory to be rectified during the same day.
·  Receives, stores, and issues supplies and equipment and compiles records: Verifies that supplies received are listed on requisitions and invoices.
·  Check and record Food & Beverage items expiry dates for follow up purposes
·  Ensure proper policy procedures are maintained for all stock items received and issued
•  Ensure proper signatories are obtained for all storerooms requisition issues by the   departmental authorized personnel and post in the system accordingly
