|The purpose of the role is to ensure support to the departments, faculty and Senior Management team in all aspects of business support, security and EHS. This position also aims to assist the BSF Director to ensure proper controlling, monitoring and management of asset, cleaning services, Security and EHS, stationaries, events, class rooms, printing activities for students and faculty, transportation of the faculty and mail services.|
Drives operational improvement within all areas of business support, ensuring first class relationships and the delivery of exceptional business support.
Controls different activities, provide the budget, and proper evaluation for the suppliers/contractors and make necessary recommendations.
Ensures stakeholder requirements are met and established guidelines are followed.
Ensures that EHSS (Environment Health, Safety & Security) Procedures and Policies are developed and implemented as per UAE requirements and EHS ADEC requirements
Selects and trains staff as required to support the services provided by the department.
Manages the business support team, encourages and inspires them to attain a high level of customer satisfaction, with high achievement and in a cost effective way.
Mentors the Business Support, Security and EHS teams to ensure that individual and Departmental KPI’s are met.
Processes Automation and Improvement
Evaluates current Service Operations Processes and recommends improvements/updates as needed to achieve the best outcomes.
Benchmarks and proposes information technology solutions for process automation to improve/expedite services.
Strategy Formulation & Compliance
Formulates different strategies to ensure the best results are achieved with optimum use of resources.
Ensures that all the guidelines and policies of ADU along with external authorities are followed and adhered to.
Ensures ADU compliance with all standards of Quality Assurance, Environmental and Safety Regulations, and meets audit requirements within the department.
Ensures compliance to all relevant safety, Security and environmental relevant regulation/legislation within ADU Premises and project activities to guarantee employee/student/stakeholder safety and delivery of high quality products/service and a comfortable work environment.
Bachelor of Engineering / Business Administration or any related field.
Certificate in EHS such as NEBOSH / OHSAS is mandatory.
15 years’ experience in Business Support and EHS
5 years’ experience in managerial role preferably in education sector
Bi-lingual (English + Arabic Fluency)
