Responsibilities
This position requires a professional engineer who has expertise in design electrical engineering activities and can work with S&L and client project team to troubleshoot all problems that occur in the field and develop engineered solutions.  The main responsibility of this position will be to assist the S&L Director with managing client relations on site, supporting project deliverable development and assist S&L Director in furthering ongoing professional services with Nawah and ENEC. 
 
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Able to Work with the Prime Contractor’s (KEPCO) staff, Nawah staff and other site vendors to successfully resolve any and all issues associated with S&L scopes of work.
Develop and oversee development of project deliverables to include:
Design Change Packages,
Minor Modification Packages,
Wide range of studies,
Perform oversight of Installation/Construction & Commissioning of Electrical Equipment & Systems as applicable.
When applicable, address related plan corrective actions and action requests in Nawah corrective actions system as well as Sargent & Lundy corrective actions system software applications. 
Participate, Witness and, as qualified, perform approval responsibilities of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) of Electrical equipment.
Supervise diverse disciplined teams to successfully develop and submit deliverables to client.
Perform and/or supervise walkdowns of site equipment and general areas as required to acquire necessary information for development of deliverables for client.
Being Capable, as qualified within S&L SPPQ, to create, review and approve Electrical Design Calculations, Specifications, Procurement engineering for Electrical equipment in Power Projects and Substations.
Capable of assisting electrical designers in developing layout drawings and cable drawings for project deliverables. 
Capable of working within teams where offices and staff will be dispersed remotely internationally.
Knowledgeable and competent to support a wide range of evolving scopes or work while maintaining nuclear safety related quality standards.
Able to work on client site as well as Abu Dhabi regional offices as project requirements dictate.
Work with S&L project director to further develop long term relationship with client technical and professional staff.

Qualifications
BS degree in electrical engineering, with coursework focusing on electrical design engineering.
A minimum of 10+ years of experience in design engineering for electrical systems and substations,
Experience in design engineering for nuclear power plant systems is preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in nuclear power plant systems and code requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
PE license preferred, but not required.
A basic understanding of nuclear power plant systems and operating parameters.
Managing and supervisory experience in engineering design related activities.
Ability to respond and update, in a timely manner, to client requests.
