Your Opportunity
In this role you will be responsible for providing pre-sales technical and solution support to authorized Traka partners and regional sales teams in the APACMEA region with specific focus on the Middle East. This includes technical specification, system design of integrated asset management solutions, onsite and webinar technical consultations, presentations and training, technical certification and product training to authorized resellers. You will also be responsible for the development and management of technical certification training program and materials.
You Will Also Be Tasked With The Following Duties
Formalization and maintenance of technical certification program materials.
Execution of technical certification program to reseller channel in the Middle East Region
Collaboration with BDM for Middle East, Technical Director for APACMEA and the Middle East partner base to grow end user accounts through identification of real world problems (opportunities) and architect integrated technology solutions that deliver a measurable ROI.
Assist with requirements analysis, technical specification and system design of IP based asset management solutions that integrate with 3rd party access control and HR systems. Included but not limited to Lenel, AMAG, Software House, S2 Security, CNL, Genetec and more.
Assist with pre and post-sales support by studying blueprints, plans, technical specifications/requirements and related customer documents as needed, as well as other professional and technical personnel.
Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.
Interface with Product Management / Engineering to conceptualize solutions and construct quality business cases to drive the product development roadmap.
Assist to relay the cost-benefit ratios of Traka in a customer environment; engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes or solutions.
Assist with onsite and webinar technical presentations to prospects and customers.
Assist with trade show setup and attendance as needed
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Technical Director / Head of APACMEA from time to time.
Who You Are
You will confident and have the ability to work on an individual basis and as part of a team with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be passionate about providing outstanding customer service and comfortable working in a highly dynamic environment with the ability to multi-task.
You will be self-motivated, with an excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workloads and tasks. You will also have flexibility and adaptability in tackling new tasks.
Within this role there is also the expectation that there will be significant travel so you must be flexible with htis.
Skills That You Must Have
Information Technology, Network Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree preferred or equivalent certifications and experience
Manufacturer certifications for enterprise-level security systems a plus and is highly desirable (e.g. Lenel OnGuard, Software House CCURE9000, AMAG Symmetry etc.).
Experience in solution selling, designs or installation.
2-5 years’ experience in the security industry working for the manufacturer and / or security integrator
In depth knowledge of access control technology and integrated security solutions is essential.
Desired skills:
Manufacturer certifications for enterprise-level security systems a plus and is highly desirable (e.g. Lenel OnGuard, Software House CCURE9000, AMAG Symmetry etc.).
