Job Description:
BFL Group is one of the world’s leading off-price retailer of fashion and homeware. Based in United Arab Emirates, we serve over five markets across the Middle East and Europe.

As Brands For Less, driven by optimized rapid-purchase strategies, became a phenomenon across the Middle East, we expanded to engage new audiences. We acquired exclusive rights to the Tchibo franchise in the MENA region, selling the German brand’s homeware and apparel at very competitive prices associated with premium customer care environment. Our UAE presence evolved into our central operational hub from where we distribute rapidly to other markets.
While we are proud of the customer trust, support and loyalty we have achieved, we never take it for granted and are always looking at new ways to delight. We have launched our Toys For Less concept that extends our off-price retail model to toys, kids apparel and party costumes. We have also recently acquired franchise rights for Korean brand MUMUSO that we have taken to Lebanon, Malta and Spain. We have also acquired the franchise rights of the Spanish home concept brand Muy Mucho for UAE, KSA and Malta.

Role Purpose:
Under the direct supervision and guidance of the Shop Manager. In the absence of the Shop Manager shall be under the supervision of the Deputy Shop Manager and within the limits established by BFL Group policies and procedures, the Sales Associate is responsible for greeting, assisting and serving customers on the shop floor at any and all points in the shopping experience, in order to ensure the provision of the highest standards of customer service and the achievement of maximum sales.
He/ she is responsible to maintains full knowledge of current items on sale and promotions. Keeping all items properly arranged and to ensure work area is always clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities:
Greets customers and serves efficiently and courteously on the shop floor in order to ensure the provision of the highest standards of customer service at all points in the shopping experience
Communicates effectively and maintain utmost respect to all customers
Maintains full knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchange, and security practices
Replenishes and re-merchandises stocks on the shop floor on an on-going basis in order to ensure maximum range and product availability at all times.
Ensures that the shop floor and shelves are kept clean and tidy at all times.
Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations
Arranges and displays merchandise according to item, size and color, under the direction of the Merchandiser team in order to promote sales.
Answer customers’ questions regarding the store and its merchandise, or request a colleague’s / supervisor’s support to do that
Helps customers locate and select the products by providing them with proper advice if required in order to support purchase decision/s.
Maintain clean and organized stock room at all times. As well as, ensure that enough stocks are available for all items and inform the Shop Manager for any requirements or over stock items
Maintain clear and clean fitting rooms at all times. Remove and orderly arrange all items left in the fitting rooms to the display racks / rails
Ensure a pleasant and healthy working environment with all colleagues and managers.
Adhere to all outlet policies, procedures & regulations set by the company to uphold the standards and reputation of the company.
Strictly adhere to the Grooming standards and the Uniform policy
Request permission for absences/ tardiness from shop manager/ deputy Managers in case of emergency or sickness.
Respect the attendance at all times and follow consistently the duty set by the Manager.
