What’s more, we believe that you have the following knowledge, capabilities and motivation: Live and share the IKEA values every day Degree in Audit or Compliance Relevant Professional certification (COA, CIA, CPA, CFE, etc,) 5+ years of experience working with risk and compliance, both on a strategic and an operational level Including first-hand experience driving change with risk and compliance for a global brand, is preferred Practical understanding of concepts and approaches for change management First-hand knowledge of challenges and opportunities when working with risk and compliance and how to navigate and leverage them. In-depth understanding of concepts, theories, principles and practices of risk management, compliance, and internal control and internal audit Excellent Communication skills Ability to work with all level of stakeholders Proficent in MS Office Application (Excel, Power Point, etc), Navision is added advantage About the role You are responsible to provide business performance management and follow up, including making business insights available to the IKEA franchise system. You support Al Futtaim IKEA with business navigation, financial, legal, risk, procurement and office operations related competences and solutions. You lead the planning and processes to anticipate, identify, and navigate opportunities and risks in a business oriented and compliant way. Key Specific Accountabilities: Develop, lead and deliver long-term planning for the Risk & Compliance function, activities, and people that meets the future organizational demands and ensures activities are integrated with Al Futtaim IKEA’s business Lead the Risk & Compliance team and inspire and empower co-workers to perform to the best of their abilities and continuously develop in their assignments Ensure that the responsibility for Risk & Compliance activities is owned, understood and accepted by the different business stakeholders Lead an overall risk management process for Al Futtaim IKEA as part of the business planning process, in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Report on risk in a relevant way for different audiences, e.g. management board and other senior business leaders to ensure they are aware of risks relevant to their parts of the business Secure an effective compliance and audit practice within Al Futtaim IKEA and report on the level of compliance with Al Futtaim IKEA steering documents and regulatory requirements, focusing on key risks Ensure that issue & crisis routines and trainings are in place in accordance with Al Futtaim IKEA steering documents Actively contribute to the Risk & Compliance community within Al Futtaim IKEA Supervise the Raising Concern Line operations, report on the statistics, and escalate issues when needed. Contribute to One Business Support – work closely with colleagues in other assignments within Business Support to enable interdependent and seamless business support processes, tools and services |
