Duties Incumbent procures a full range of goods and services for all agencies located within the U.S. Consulate, Dubai in accordance with International Cooperative Administrative Support Services (ICASS) standards and procurement regulations. Incumbent performs sourcing from local, third country, and U.S. based vendors, and processes various types of orders utilizing sanctioned methods including contracts, purchase orders, petty cash, and purchase cards. Utilizes the Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS) modules to process Procurement Requests. Acts as a primary contact and liaison between the U.S. Government (USG) and outside vendors. Drives USG vehicle for official business. Qualifications and Evaluations Requirements: Note: All applicants must currently hold or be able to acquire a UAE residency visa to fill the position. For non-UAE nationals, the Mission assists in obtaining the required residency visa to lawfully work in the UAE. Refer to Eligibility Question #2 and Vacancy Question #1: If a non-UAE national has a valid UAE residency visa, they should answer Yes to Eligibility Q#2 and Vacancy Q#1 and attach a copy of residency visa. EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement or contracting is required. Education Requirements: Completion of two years of college/ University studies is required. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must possess a valid UAE driver’s license (Light Motor Vehicle) and should have lifting ability of up to 15 kg.
