The incumbent is responsible to prepare payroll reconciliation and verify and process leave applications, vacation travel, change of status of employees, cash advance requests. What you will be doing: Raising system or manual payments of colleague salaries or advances Ensuring accurate payroll records are always maintained Update, run close day operation, print and file daily time sheets Verify overtime requisitions with time sheets, forward the same for approvals, distribute copy and process approved overtime requisitions in the payroll system Calculate final settlement of employee leaving the employment, forward the final separation forms approval to the Accounts Payable upon approval Coordinate with the Talent and Culture Department on the opening of bank accounts for new employees Report immediately any discrepancies to the Director of Finance Follow up with respective departments if any employee has not completed the attendance cycle Your experience and skills include: Minimum experience of 2 or 3 years in the position is preferred Flexibility and adaptability to work under pressure Positive attitude and good communication skills Highly organized and able to work under restricted time Thorough knowledge of payroll accounting package, employee benefits, labour legislation pertaining to employment in UAE Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems Ability to analyze payroll data and provide financial reports as per request Dayforce payroll system Payroll GL Knowledge Hotel Payroll Experience Your team and working environment: Queen Elizabeth II The iconic Queen Elizabeth (QE2) Dubai’s first and only floating hotel is a 497 room hotel and one-of-a-kind entertainment destination, rich in History where the past is relived in the luxury of today.
