Job Description:
Aldar Education is currently seeking a Manager – Talent (SLT) to support our growing family of owned and operated schools in the UAE. Due to planned current and future expansion we are looking to add to our People and Culture Team supporting our British, US and IB curricula network of schools.

Job Purpose
A strategic Talent Manager, able to create a sourcing and hiring strategy to meet the needs of the company Education and Schools’ Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
To serve as a key recruitment partner to Directors – Education, Principals, and Director – People & Culture for the School Senior Leadership sourcing and recruitment process.
To build and develop a strong talent pool/pipeline of Education Leaders/SLTs.
To continuously strive to exceed internal & external customer expectations, while embracing the Aldar Education Core Values.

Responsibilities:
Main Duties:
Alongside the Group Head – Talent, develop and support an effective assessment process for talent selection of Education Senior Management, and Schools Senior Leadership teams (SLTs) in accordance with job requirements and competency framework.
Manage talent acquisition projects, systems and processes for education senior roles.
Support Directors – Education, Principals and Director – People & Culture in the schools’ senior leadership team member recruitment and onboarding process.
Provide regular/periodic reports and updates to key stakeholders on the recruitment progress.

Specific Duties:
Collaborate with other functions in People & Culture, leaders and managers in the organisation and other key stakeholders on Education leaders/schools SLTs talent related matters.
Lead scalable talent management initiatives, from conception and design through project planning, implementation, documentation, measurement and continuous improvement.
Build talent pipeline and leadership capabilities through effective talent acquisition and management/development practices and processes.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, working both collaboratively and independently to balance and successfully execute on project objectives and related tasks with internal and external resources as necessary.
Be data driven and evaluate the effectiveness of talent strategies with data analysis and effectively communicating results and findings back to leadership.
Build schools senior leadership bench strength by identifying talent and creating accelerated development processes for identified talents.
Responsible for organising, coordination and scheduling the candidates interviews/panel interviews with Directors and the AE Executive Team or school panel.
Lead, draft and manage the negotiation and contracts for selected SLT talents.
Oversee obtaining the required approvals for the newly hired Principals/schools’ SLTs from the related government regulatory bodies.
Guide and support in the onboarding process and induction plans for the new Education senior leaders and School’ Principals/SLTs.
Consult with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on the passing of the probationary periods for all new starters on Principals/SLTs and Educational leaders.
Create and maintain policies and processes on all talent management and development functions, in consultation with the Director – People & Culture and Group Head – Talent.
Provide recommendations to management for improvement in talent related processes and policies.
Provide excellent coaching, consultation, and facilitation skills to quickly establish and build effective communication channels.
Deliver and support leadership and management development programmes.
Partner with managers and employees to understand and accurately reflect the needs of the organisation within the Talent offering.
Manage systems and processes for holistic feedback, including 360 feedback and analyse solutions for its automation.
Support psychometric assessment tools, systems and processes related to talent with the required debriefing of results.
Maintain accurate records of all compensation and job description changes and provide to P&C as appropriate.
Collect, analyse, and organise data in an effective manner to convey organisation opportunities and solutions.
Any other duties as reasonably expected and as required. 

Qualifications
 Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, or minimum of a talent module within a non-HR degree
Recognized HR Qualification and/or professional subscription (eg CIPD Level 5 or equivalent SHRM level) desirable
Formal Talent qualification and/or certification desirable

Minimum Experience:
A minimum of 4 years’ progressive experience in Human Resources with a focus on Talent (acquisition, management and development), or 3 years in generalist HR with experience in talent management and development.  Education sector experience of added advantage.
Experience of leading and coaching non-direct reports and senior colleagues through talent programmes
Coordination of talent acquisition programmes and careers fairs
Hands-on experience with employee assessment tools and practices/programs.
Experience of working with compelling talent acquisition and development programmes
Education or other service-related industry experience preferable

Job Specifics, Knowledge & Skills
Good Excel skills and the ability to replicate intermediate level formulas.
Good level of business acumen sufficient to understand how positions function relative to each other in each business unit and school and across the company.
Strong knowledge of the UAE labour law
Provide strong organisational and project management skills to meet multiple priorities and deadlines.
Knowledge of ADEK or similar govt. entities Principal/SLT requirements
Strong abilities of stakeholder management.
Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment, decisiveness, and creativity in situations involving the evaluation of information against sensory, judgmental, or subjective criteria, as opposed to that which is clearly measurable or verifiable.

Great interview skills on senior management level.

Serve as backup to other teammates. Assist with their workload or even substitute for them as appropriate.
